We’re a small but tightly knit team here at the Punchbowl. Here’s a few of the management.
James Feeney
James took on and refurbished The Punchbowl in 2004 at the ripe old age of 24. Things have gone from strength to strength over the past seven years, but that’s not to say there haven’t been a few nerve-racking moments during that time.
The Punchbowl continues to be busy despite the recent economic downturn that has effected so many establishments; this is testament to the care and attention that is put into the food and the service. James adopts a very hands-on approach to running the business, spending all his time split between the restaurant and on the wrong side of the bar. He has got extremely high standards of how a bar and restaurant should be run and this is transparent from the moment you walk through the front door.
Simon Burchell- The General Manager
Simon joined to head up The Punchbowl team in January 2011. He fitted straight into place from the off as his warm and likeable personality shone through and was a big hit with our customers. Simon is no stranger to running a successful restaurant as he owned a fantastic Mediterranean restaurant in Menorca for 17 years before braving the cold and returning to his native homeland.
